We collect information you provide directly to us:

Account information — your name and email address when you create an account
Documents — PDFs you upload for signing are stored securely and used only to facilitate the signing process
Signature data — typed signatures and completion timestamps
Payment information — processed by Stripe. We never store your credit card details
Usage data — pages visited, documents sent, signing activity

How We Use Your Information

To provide and operate the EasyDocSign service
To send documents for signature on your behalf
To notify you when documents are viewed or signed

Document Storage

Documents you upload are stored securely using Supabase infrastructure with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. Documents are stored for as long as your account is active. You may delete documents at any time from your dashboard.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

With signers — document name and your name are shared with people you invite to sign
Service providers — we use Supabase (storage), Resend (email), and Stripe (payments). Each has their own privacy policy
Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect our rights

Electronic Signature Compliance

EasyDocSign signatures are legally binding under the U.S. Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN Act) and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA). Each signed document includes an audit trail with timestamps, IP addresses, and signer email verification.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, we will delete your data within 30 days upon request. Audit trails for signed documents may be retained longer to comply with legal obligations.

You have the right to:

Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Export your documents at any time

Cookies

We use minimal cookies necessary to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers.

We take security seriously. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use industry-standard practices to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Children's Privacy

EasyDocSign is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
